Hanbok is one of the most special symbols of Korean traditional culture. It is not just clothing but also a reflection of history, values, and beauty.
People usually wear hanbok on traditional holidays such as New Year’s Day and Chuseok, as well as at weddings and important family events.
The design of hanbok, with its wide sleeves, curved lines, and long skirts, shows harmony with nature.
The colors are bright and meaningful: red stands for good fortune, blue for stability, and white for purity.
When I wore hanbok on New Year’s Day, it became one of my most special memories. My family gathered together, and we performed a traditional bow to our grandparents. Wearing hanbok made me feel proud to be Korean.
My parents told me that in the past, people wore hanbok every day, but today it is only worn on holidays and special occasions.
